Super weather and super golf courses – Hunstanton, Royal West Norfolk (Brancaster) and Sheringham. Those who did not come really missed something !! We kicked off at Hunstanton on the Friday afternoon alongside a few Hunstanton members supplied by Andrew Sherwood. Dinner at The Duck at Stanhoe set us up nicely for foursomes at Brancaster for the Peter Robinson Salver. This was won by Tony Dunn and Iryna Photiou, the first lady winner of this prestigious event. More food, this time at the Gin Trap, Ringstead, prepared us for golf on the Sunday at Sheringham, again with a few friends of Andrew Sherwood. Our thanks also go to David Burt for arranging the weekend and to George Eve for getting us onto Brancaster and at a very reasonable rate. It was great to have Alex Photiou along to lower the average age of the party. Hopefully he can send good reports back to some of his fellow young OEs.
