The tournament at West Sussex involves teams of 6 playing scratch foursomes morning and afternoon with a superb lunch in between.  The teams as usual came from Brighton, Eastbourne, Hurstpierpoint and Lancing.

Ben Burrows and Chris Walker won their match in the morning against Lancing but lost in the afternoon against Brighton.  Our team captain Harry Rimmer and his brother Alex did the reverse, namely losing in the morning but redeeming themselves in the afternoon.  Our other pair, who presumably came up against extremely strong opposition, consisted of David Barwell and Ben Twine.  Hurstpierpoint won the tournament by a considerable distant, winning all 6 of their matches.
