David Dunn wins Crosse Challenge Trophy at Cooden GC
Autumn Meeting Cooden GC 14th Sept 2019
The 18 Hole Stableford competition for the Crosse Challenge Trophy was played from the white tees with full handicap allowance. This was again played in fine, sunny weather with a testing 10 miles an hour breeze from the east after a very welcome full English breakfast. The easterly wind made the course more testing that it would in a prevailing westerly. David Dunn won the trophy with 36 points (“I will need to confirm that” says Match Manager Andrew Langlands). The course was in good condition as usual. Chris Walker scored a spectacular eagle 2 at the 364 yard 9th. Positive comments on the day were received by the MM from all OEGS participants.
