It is with profound regret that we have learnt that George Eve passed away on 21^st April 2026.

George was a great supporter of both Eastbourne College and the OEGS.  The hospitality that he and Belinda showed us on countless golfing weekends in Norfolk will always be remembered.  Indeed, we were just about to go on such a weekend which, of course, included a day at George’s beloved Royal West Norfolk GC (Brancaster).  We raised a glass in his memory there.

A Memorial Service for George will take place on Friday 22nd May at 2pm at The Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Sedgeford (PE36 5NB).

The family have asked for no flowers, but if you would like to make a donation they will be sharing it amongst the three churches of Worthing, Sedgeford and Fring which played such an important part in George’s life.  They will be sending a donation link in due course.
