Knole Park GC was in fabulous condition, with lush fairways and fast greens. The combination of little run on the fairways and lightning fast greens resulted in a particularly challenging test. The weather was amazing, unlike the golf.

David Barwell and Jack Hughes went out first and scored 19 points. Martin Patmore (good to see him back!) and Mark Stewart were our second pair and scored 23 points. Tim Mote and Angus Stewart also came in with 23 points. Our overall total was 65 points, which was not enough to qualify for the finals (by quite some margin).

Thanks to Mark Stewart for standing in as Captain on the day and ensuring all pairings went out on time. Fingers crossed for a better performance next year.
