This tournament currently involves teams of 6 golfers from Eastbourne, Lancing, Hurstpierpoint and Brighton playing scratch foursomes matches over both a morning and an afternoon round.

Our star pair, with 2 victories, was local member Ben Burrows and Adam Walker.  Chris Walker and David Barwell managed 2 halves (against strong opposition) but Tim Mote and Chris Hampton went down narrowly both times (presumably against even stronger opposition).  With 2 points for a win and one for a half, Lancing ran out winners with 7 points vs. 6 for both us and Brighton and 4 for Hurstpierpoint.

West Sussex GC are great hosts.  The course was in excellent condition and the lunch, as always, magnificent.
