OEGS fought bravely against a stronger Uppingham team on 6th August but in the end could not benefit from the HCP strokes they had. The fixture was its usual friendly jovial affair on a sunny blowy day starting with, yet again, a superb hot lunch in the Justin Rose Room – no jackets required, hooray! Everyone appreciated the condition and type of golf course.
